This year I chose courage.
I left the safety of my comfort zone.

And what I found was kindness.
Warm smiles, open hearts, gentle encouragement.

I felt seen, supported—
like a butterfly finally free to dance in the sunlight.

As I gaze upon the mountain, my mind gradually unwinds and softens.

Not everything needs an explanation — just enjoy the scenery.

Bandung will always feel homey for me. I love driving through the city, gazing at the towering trees lining the streets—silent witnesses to countless eras, standing tall long before my time. There’s something deeply comforting about their presence, as if they hold the memories of the past within their branches.

True contentment can only be experienced in the present moment, rather than by worrying about the future.

“Memento Mori” is a thought-provoking piece that captures the essence of life’s transience and the inevitability of death.
